Hey, hey ! Gonna share another Friend zone story to you guys out there. This time is about my friend Gracie and two guys, one of them was her best friend, one is his big brother. FYI I'm using fake names, I'm not allowed to use the real one, 'cause girl still need it to be a secret.
The story started when Gracie was in the 5th grade and Ed was her best guy friend. Ed's a active, fun, kind, and quite a good looking boy. They hang out a lot at school, they studied in the same class, they played together. Ha~ They had so much fun back then. The sweet part was, whenever Gracie was feeling down, Ed was the one who cheer her up, sometime he would just turn around, and just look Gracie in the eyes, asking her how was she doing, and tried to say something to comfort her. (p.s. Ed was siting right in front of Gracie in the class room)
Rumours about them as a perfect couple started spreading when they were in 6th grade. But Gracie never had a single doubt about their relationship. So they keep on being each other friends. But everything started changing when they were in 7th grade and they are in the middle school.
Ed never spoken to Gracie again, since the 7th grade. Don't know why, but Gracie never ask. She never got a chance, 'cause his friends were always around him. And she was afraid, afraid to feel the awkwardness, afraid his friends gonna laugh at them. Silly girl....
A year after, rumours started again, but this time is about Ed have a crush on Gracie. Rumours, they were never a good sign, causing people troubles. ( But sometime it's a good way to get close to somebody, just saying. XD ) Anyway, Gracie heard it, and she though it's only a joke. But you know, school, the rumours only got bigger, and Gracie started doubting it.
Finally, Gracie overcome her fear and decided to talk to Ed. Well...She changed her mind in the last minute and go chat him online. ( I'm wordless =.= ) FYI this is the only conversation they had in 2 years, crazy right? And the conversation were....emm...don't know how to describe, just gonna show it.
Gracie : Hey, have you ever had a crush on me?
( My God ! Straight forward? Girl, I'm shaking my head already )
Ed : Have I?
( What? Even worst ! Stupid guy, with the stupidest answer ! He could answer No, I don't. or Yes, I had. But why that ! Arghhh ! )
Gracie was hurt by the answer he gave too, 'cause deep, deep down, she was still expecting something completely different even know it's not gonna happen. And she will never ever gonna forget about it. ( She's a sensitive girl, when comes in relationship ) I still think the guy is stupid.
Next year, which is this year, we are in 9th grade. Gracie 'spotted' a guy, a cute senior guy, whom she had no idea he is Ed's brother.
